При попытке скачать видео с ютуба просит установить на комп дополнительное приложение. Нах тогда вообще такое дополнение?

WAS the greatest tool - now: useless!! Does not show mp4 anymore, only webm. If I download webm and also IF a mp4 is possible, another tab slowly opens and a totally useless filename should be used to save which I then have to manually edit. Waste of time! All that is since the last update - before: everything absolutely great. Another software "optimized" to death.

I am using paid software for video downloads but still need this superb little app for stuff which my paid software cant do. I am using YoutubebyClick. However it only downloads stuff from Youtube and limited one from Dailymotion. However this wonderous little app, Video DownloadHelper can download videos from literally ANY SITE! I hope people support them for the great free service they are providing to us.

Keeps locking up on numerous sites. Very unreliable. When I tag 10 video downloads and leave I expect them to be done when I get back. But usually find that it's locked up on #2 3. So I've got to start the whole process all over again.

Video DownloadHelper works great, has an automatic placement feature allowing saving of videos into a specified folder. Doesn't hog resources.

Kinderleicht zu benutzen, kann nichts negatives darüber sagen.
Nur zu empfehlen.

I like that it detects, downloads and converts all types of video file formats, and, it even does it with streaming media. Only drawback is renaming a file, before it gets saved. You can't use the Backspace or Delete keys. If you do, the Save File dialog box (window) automatically closes and the file is saved by the filename given by your browser. If the developers can fix this problem in a future revision, it would be great. Until then, I'll give it 4 Stars (less than great).
