Ich war jahrelang Fan von Flashgot. Leider ist der seit der Umstellung auf die WebExtensions nicht mehr lauffähig. Im Video-Downloadhelper (VDH) hab ich einen gleichwertigen Ersatz gefunden: Zuverlässig, einfach zu bedienen und ausreichend schnell. Einziges kleines Manko: Mein externer Downloader läßt sich nicht einbinden. Da aber VDH einen eigenen Downloader anbietet, kann ich das verschmerzen. (Übrigens bietet VDH ohne den externen Downloader den Download über HTML - ist nur eben nicht immer möglich). Leider ist der VDL sehr speicherhungrig (Bei 6 parallelen Downloads ist bei meinem Speicherausbau Schluss. Bei mehr droht der Absturz von Firefox). Aber das ist jammern auf sehr hohem Niveau. Denn ansonsten läuft der VDL sehr stabil. Inzwischen hab' ich mich so sehr auf ihn eingeschossen, dass mir die Entwicklung von Flashgot relativ egal ist und mein externer Downloader wohl irgendwann ausgemustert wird. Tolles Add-On, der Video Downloadhelper, ich möcht' ihn nicht mehr missen. Dank an die Entwickler.

Wszechstronny i działa z wszystkimi dotąd mi znanymi strumieniami video. Polecam gorąco i mam nadzieję, że twórcy nie porzucą projektu.

This is a great program for downloading, especially for free! You make it an add-on to the browser (Firefox) and whenever something streams it automatically picks it up. If you click on it the program will download the stream by going to the source of the download. That means you don't have to watch the entire stream, you can go to another one and download that, and so on. Couldn't work better IMO. There are some kinds of videos that won't be downloaded but I think they're pretty rare. I only use it to download for personal use. The only thing they need to fix is that when the link to the source breaks the download ends and there doesn't appear to be any way to restart it, so you have to pull the stream up again and start over. I don't know why they don't just have a "restart" that picks up from where it left off, but I haven't been able to find that. Except for that would be 5 stars. Because of that, 4 stars. But hey, it's free!

Периодически требует доустановить какие то приложения. непонятно зачем. В остальном работает отлично
