How the hell do I download this extension? I've used it for years, but now it seems to want an update. There seems to be no obvious way to do this.

I wouldn't recommend it. I was able to download ONE video and then they started to beg for me to pay money to register, putting a freaking barcode on the video, AND you will be forced to download their app. Overall it's s$*@

The add-on coerces users to download a companion app. The video files for which it suggests it's companion app is required are easily downloadable by the direct http address of the video, proving further that the app uses disinformation to achieve its goal of installation of its "companion app".

Latest update has made it necessary to also update Companion App. It says you just need this for ADP downloads, but even if you select a HLS download it also insists on the App.
Then your download ADP gets "Watermarked" with a QR code, and you have to pay to remove.
Claims Watermark is only on ADP, but if you download HLS, only get Audio...

Useful tool with some limitation. Need to install some additional companion apps. I could be nice if they're automatically included from start.

Loved it until it started nagging me. Don't love it so much now. If anyone has a better downloader thatworks and doesn't nag please let me know. Thanks and have a great day.
