by ffoxuser88, a year agoThe tool works well in FireFox with win7. It's easy to install and configure. The tool is easily accessible through the extension icon. It can download multiple streams simultaneously. It supports many video formats. Download recovers and continues after minor network interruption. Download speed is fast and dynamically adjusting to internet speed changes. The tool has regular updates that can be configure through the extensions. It's also a very stable tool - rarely crashes.

- Rated 5 out of 5by 5-pin DIN, 5 hours agoThis is the best video downloader I've ever used. I'm getting ready to start working in a new area of music production. This add-on lets me download all of the best tutorials from YouTube so I can watch them on my iPad or phone. Love it.

- Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 15508384, 3 days agoI've been using VDH for years. Premium twice, because I like it so much.
It gets 4 stars now (not 5) for two reasons:
1)The developer has disabled the contact page on his site, and there's no way to reach him. This is a problem ...
2)It's a very weird design decision to make me select download directory and file name (from Download As) *after* the download is complete. It causes the Save As system dialog to interrupt what I'm doing, routinely stealing keystrokes meant for another program and erasing the correct filename, wasting my time. Why can't I pre-select that stuff when I *start* the download, like the extension used to do?
