When it works it's great but lately it keeps demanding the companion program update. When I download the companion program it makes it about halfway and crashes. Download failed.

this add-ons is a quick way to download video from multiple site. it's truly a miracle. one click, fast and magic you have a movie at you disposal.

I owe many things to this add-on(vdlhelper) because of it's simplicity in downloading, especially from the YOUTUBE site. All I have to do is just add it. I've introduced this add-on to several people around me, who want to download videos from YOUTUBE.
But some say that they cannot use it in the Chrome browser.
Is it because YOUTUBE refuses to download the videos?
