Need to save that video for a presentation and can't afford to be at the mercy of bad internet? Then Video Download Helper is just what you need. Download nearly any streaming video and save it to your hard drive so it will be ready when you need it, without having to depend on an unknown internet connection.

It's super easy to install and use. For the new versions of Firefox Quantum they have added a companion app, but you really don't need it and the downloads work perfectly fine without it. I found the companion app to be more cumbersome and added extra steps, so I uninstalled it. When you find a video you want, simply click on the VDH icon in the toolbar, select the file you want (bigger file size usually means higher resolution), and tell it where to save it. Yes, it IS that easy.

The BEST Video Downloader on the internet currently.

I have used many different video downloaders and the most common problem is that they either do not work across different websites, or they go out of date in terms on maintenance by the publishers. But I have found this one to be the best, and have stuck with it so far. Usually, if there is a site that this doesnt work with, there is a new update soon out.

So, just wanted to say THANKS to the publishers, and I will definitely be sticking with this and recommend this for anyone.

Best Video Downloader from streaming services. I used it in all streaming services and even on paid streaming services (I already have a subscription but those services don't give you the ability to watch offline), and it never failed to download them. I just would like an easier interface to choose the path of where to download the file, as I needed to have the macOSX specialist to get it to save files on a Volume.

Ten program jest wspaniały! Nie zawsze na każdej stronie była możliwość pobrania filmu, a dzięki temu programowi już na to nie patrzę! Wystarczy, że film zacznie się odtwarzać a program już go wychwytuje i może pobrać. Niekiedy na danej stronce można oglądać filmy tylko przez pewien czas, a później trzeba wykupić konto Vip albo odczekać długi czas, zanim będzie można znów normalnie oglądać. Nie zawsze przez ten czas zdążę obejrzeć wszystkie zaplanowane filmy, ale teraz nie muszę się już tym przejmować. Mogę je ściągnąć i obejrzeć później na spokojnie. Bardzo polecam ten dodatek! :)
