it" great. Does what it says. downloads videos when others cannot. It is now May 21, 2019. This extension has not worked for weeks. It was my "Go-To" video downloader. Now it downloads to the end and gets an error or dose not work at all.

Downloads streaming vids from many sites, but it requires additional instalation (outside Firefox). It downloads fine, but while it downloads, it eats memory like candy. At one point I had Firefox taking over 3 GB of RAM.

As a teacher this app saved my life back when I couldn't rely on district or university Net connections. I could download videos I needed and be sure the lesson would go on. Absolutely essential--love this app!

I really love this extension because it enables me to download from every site i want even sites were downloads are not possible. I think it is a great extension. Keep up the good work.

I LUV this app. Mig's been through the ringer to keep up with browser updates, and has really worked hard for we sometimes extremely ungrateful vid-lovers out there! Recent changes once again have me figuring out the new rules, and we've lost some options once the project needed funding... which I agree, I've watched the throes- and I hope to show my appreciation when I'm in a better financial position. Thanks for all of your hard work, Mig. Only dropping a star for the lost options; when I'm in a better position to see how it's all progressed- I expect It'll be 5* all the way!

I have other down-loaders I use that are easier to change target folders but those sometimes miss urls that are picked by Video DownloadHelper. If it had a more user friendly control menu it may be my go-to application
